Kate Moss has turned to acupuncture in a bid to stay off drugs.
The supermodel - who successfully completed a drug rehab course after images
of her snorting cocaine were published last year - has been photographed
with tell-tale plasters in both of her ears.
The plasters are used to hold tiny needles in specific points, which experts
say can help patients conquer drug and alcohol addictions.
Ron Bishop, of the British Acupuncture Council, said the treatment helps
with "detoxification and suppressing withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety,
agitation and insomnia".
Earlier this week, Kate was alleged to have snorted cocaine off Nelson
Mandela's toilet moments before meeting the former South African President.
Gavin Maselle - a model booker and formed friend of the catwalk beauty -
made the claim and also insists the 32-year-old was high on the class A drug
every time he met her.
He told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Kate had been addicted for years. I
truly hope she stays off coke because if she goes back, it will be the end
of her."
Maselle first met Moss in 1997 when she was attending an event in Cape Town
and claims they "bonded" after she followed him into some men's toilets to
snort drugs with him.
