Orlando Bloom may propose, but isn't ready to settle down

What’s up with Orlando Bloom? The gorgeous actor has a lot of conflicting gossip swirling around him these days. One minute he’s about to pop the question to his long time girlfriend, Kate Bosworth, the next he’s chatting up every gal in sight. Is the 29-year-old actor ready to settle down or is he too busy sowing his wild oats?

A few months ago Orlando and Kate were spied doing what appeared to be engagement ring shopping. Many suspected they would be announcing their plans to marry soon thereafter. But the announcement never came. Now it looks as though Bloom may finally ask Bosworth to be his missus on Valentine’s Day.

But just because he puts a ring on Kate’s finger doesn’t mean Orlando ready to stop flirting. According to a source for Star magazine, the actor has been very friendly with the females on the set of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels - and co-star Keira Knightley has had enough of it. "Keira says that when Orlando isn't making some fumbling attempt to flirt with her, he's chatting up the female crew members, catering girls - whoever will listen to his lines. Keira told me, 'I think all this swashbuckling pirate business has gone to his head.' Orlando is always professing his deep love for Kate to Keira, then she sees him winking at the next pretty girl who walks by," a source close to the actress told Star. Of course, Keira’s rep denies the tension.

And if engagement and flirting rumors weren’t contradictory enough, there’s always the gay rumors to stir things up. An informant for British gossip newsletter, Holy Moly said that Orlando was known to have an eye for guys when he was in acting school. Could it be that all his on-set playfulness with the ladies is a cover up? Okay, probably not. But it’s sure fun to speculate.
