Supermodel Kate Moss is stepping off the catwalk to star as a lesbian in a new screen biopic reports ContactMusic. The forthcoming film is based on the life of legendary 60s soul singer Dusty Springfield, and Moss is expected to play a beautiful socialite who became one of her early lovers reports Channel 4 UK.
The project, directed by Ang Lee of Brokeback Mountain fame, will see the 32-year-old opposite Oscar-winning-actress Charlize Theron in the lead.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Kate's the ideal choice to play the love of Dusty's early life. She's beautiful, aloof and she epitomises swinging London.
"There'll probably be sexual scenes but as Ang is behind the camera they will be very tastefully done.
"Kate's character breaks Dusty's heart and sparks off the chain of tumultuous relationships that dogged her throughout her life."Springfield died in 1999 after losing her battle with breast cancer.
