No Guy problems for Madonna

Despite rumors to the contrary, Madonna’s rep claims that the reigning Queen of Pop is not suffering from marital woes. A report surfaced in Monday’s New York Daily News that the Material Mom and her husband of five years, director Guy Ritchie were on the verge of break up. Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s mouthpiece, has rubbished the story, though.

"Guy came to the set [of Madonna’s new video] to visit, once with the children and once without. Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie seemed perfectly comfortable and adoring of each other…My sense is that they're quite a happy, content couple," Rosenberg said.

NYDN had come across sources that believed that "the couple has split, but they're keeping it quiet." One particular insider said, "[Madonna] has been spending very little time with Guy. She is obsessed with everything related to her career at this point…that is all she seems to care about these days.

If the couple are experiencing problems, they’re likely not going to improve their relationship by filling up their schedules. And that’s just what Madge has been doing. It’s looking more and more like she is going to tour this summer. TNA International, producers of Madonna's ReInvention and Drowned World tours, have snagged the promotion rights to a future tour for her current album, “Confessions on a Dance Floor.�

Expect the tour to take place this summer, as Madonna only likes to tour when her children are out of school.
