Britney Spears, Mary Kate slammed by Blackwell

Poor Britney Spears. The singer just can’t get a break. For the millionth time, she’s been named as Mr. Blackwell’s worst dressed woman. The former designer and self-appointed head of the fashion police called Britney’s style in 2005, “Couture Chaos." He also said that the new mother "looks like an over-the-hill Lolita."

Mary Kate Olsen is Blackwell’s number two offender. He describes the petite star as, being "In bag lady rags that look depressingly decayed – forget the 'accessories' and buy some Raid." Jessica Simpson, as the third worst dressed woman of 2005, “resembles a cut-rate Rapunzel slingin' hash in a Vegas diner," according to Blackwell.

The critic isn’t all negative in his review of the year’s fashion, though. He applauds Reese Witherspoon’s style. Nicole Kidman, Kate Moss, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Dionne Warwick (?!?) are noted to have “effortless beauty and memorable style� as well.
