It was the surprise hit of the summer and in January, “Dancing with the Stars will be back for a second season. The sophomore cast will include entertainment industry luminaries George Hamilton, soap star Lisa Rinna, Wayne’s World’s Tia Carrere, actress (and drama queen) Tatum O’Neal, rapper Master P, 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey, ESPN anchor Kenny Mayne, WWE personality Stacy Keibler, football star Jerry Rice and journalist Giselle Fernandez. Master P replaces his son, rapper Romeo, who was initially cast for the program. Romeo (formerly Lil Romeo) had to pull out after enduring a basketball injury.
Last season, actress (and Playboy playmate) Kelly Monaco took home the prize in the summer, but was beaten in a rematch with runner-up John O’Hurley of “Seinfeld fame in the fall. Season two will premiere on January 6 at 8 pm.
