Victoria and David Beckham's three-year-old son has been rushed to hospital
for the fourth time this year.
The worried pair reportedly took little Romeo - who has been hospitalised
after suffering convulsions three times this year - to a Madrid clinic after
he developed a high fever.
Doctors diagnosed the tot with a bronchitis-like infection and kept him in
overnight as a precaution.
A source at the Madrid clinic is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as
saying: "Victoria was frantic with worry when she took Romeo in. He had a
temperature of 40 degrees.
"Doctors performed a series of blood and urine tests before diagnosing the
beginnings of bronchitis."
An insider revealed the Beckhams have been hit hard by their child's
illness, saying: "Romeo falling ill again has really knocked them for six.
"Romeo is off school and Victoria has cancelled all her plans to be at his
bedside. David is taking turns to look after him."
The health scare came two months after Romeo was taken to hospital twice in
one week with seizures.
