For some reason, if a man in Hollywood dates extensively, he's referred to favorably as a Playboy or a ladies' man. If a woman dates extensively, however, she is a S-L-U-T. The illogic is staggering; you get these "Playboys" and "Ladies' Men" dipping their sticks into the motor oils of "sluts" and coming out smelling like Aramis musk soap.
Take poor Paris Hilton. She had her heart trampled on the yacht deck by Paris Latsis' family, and then simply because she found succor in the arms of a different Greek billionaire, everybody and their curate is calling Paris Hilton a loose woman. She did the honorable thing by breaking up with Paris with Stavros listening on the telephone; what's the problem? (By Scott Rose)
