Supermodel Kate Moss will start rehab (outside of the UK) in the next 24 hours, a source told IOL. Last week, British tabloid, Daily Mirror published pictures of the supermodel snorting cocaine with her boyfriend, rocker Pete Doherty, at a recording studio. Moss has lost three lucrative modeling contracts (H&M , Chanel, Burberry) since the drugs allegations surfaced and other fashion companies are threatening to follow suit. A multimillion pound contract with cosmetic giant Rimmel still hangs in the balance as they continue to consider the model's future.
A spokeswoman for Coty Beauty, which manages the make-up firm, said tonight: "Nothing has changed. We have welcomed and acknowledged her statement and apology but we are still reviewing her contract. We do however offer her and anyone else going through the same thing all our support."
The Croydon-born model is not currently in the UK and will be staying away, the source added.
Kate Moss initially kept quiet about the allegations but made a public statement last Thursday.
She said: "I take full responsibility for my actions. I also accept that there are various personal issues that I need to address and have started taking the difficult yet necessary steps to resolve them." The model also apologised to all the people she had "let down because of my behaviour."
