Is Garner getting rid of Vartan? |

Running into an ex is tough. Many people go to great lengths to avoid the often awkward interactions, but when you work with an ex, avoiding him can be impossible. Jennifer Garner is learning that the hard way, as she dated her "Alias" co-star, Michael Vartan after her split with ex-husband, Scott Foley and before her relationship with new husband, Ben Affleck. Garner has been rumored to be trying to get Vartan off the show for months to no avail, but now it seems she might have accomplished her goal. An insider told Page Six that August 17 was Vartan's last day on the "Alias" set. ABC told the gossip column, "We don't comment on plots. We encourage viewers to tune in and we promise they won't be disappointed." But this non-denial doesn't seem to bode well for the actor.
