"Apprentice" could feature race battle |

The last season of "The Apprentice" suffered from a notable loss in hype and viewers. Donald Trump even had to cut the final episode down from the super-sized three hours of past finales to a regular length one hour closer. Now he's desperate to make his show one of the top ratings-earners again and may go to extreme - and potentially offensive - measures to do so. MSNBC's Scoop column is reporting that the Donald is considering using controversy to get back on top. One of the gimics being debated for the show's next season is to put black players in competition against white players. Said Trump, "Whether people like that idea or not, it is somewhat reflective of our very vicious world. But needless to say, not everybody thinks it's a good idea."
