Last year, Lindsay Lohan lost her purse in an NYC nightclub and a short time thereafter her Black American Express Card appeared in photos on the internet.
Those Black cards are soon going to be history. AmEx has introduced in Europe and will soon be introducing here Titanium American Express cards to replace the black ones. The cards are bequeathed by invitation only. Current black card holders include Flavio Briatore, Naomi you-know-who, Jay-Z and Sean Combs. The annual fee is $2,500 and card holders must charge a minimum of $250,000 per year.
Shopkeepers are warned in advance to be suspicious if a female customer of normal weight presents a Titanium AmEx card in the name of Lindsay Lohan. (By Scott Rose)
