Disney pursuing Lindsay Lohan |

According to a scoop at Moviehole, Disney is pursuing Lindsay Lohan (Herbie, Fully Loaded) for a starring role in Swiss Family Robinson. The new version of Swiss Family Robinson will be produced in Australia. Disney and Mandeville Films have picked Jonathan Mostow, director of Terminator 3 and U-571, to shoot the picture.
It could be the actress's last youthful movie part before she moves on to more grown-up roles.
"[Director] Mostow recently finished re-writing the script by Greg [Poirier]", Moviehole's source was quoted as saying. "Linday's just talk at the moment...but that's someone they want. It might depend on whether she's happy to be part of an ensemble, and not the headliner."
