Fantastic Four premiere a bust |

If you weren't invited to the New York premiere of The Fantastic Four on Wednesday night, don't fret: it wasn't at all fantastic. In fact, one attendee told the New York Daily News, "It was quite possibly the worst film premiere ever." But it wasn't the movie's weak character development that made the premiere so awful. For one thing, the weather was the pits. Rain soaked guests as they stepped off the ferry to the event's Liberty Island location. NYDN says "One Tree Hill's" Maria Menounos was on the verge of crying because of her soaked Dior gown. Then, no one could see the expensive fireworks because the movie screen was in the way. And to make matters worse, the film projector broke shortly after the film began. The screening had to be moved to a Manhattan location and didn't let out until 2 am. Sounds like the kind of event only a superhero could save.
