Author JK Rowling has decided to grant her only UK TV interview to a young fan aged between eight and 16 for her new book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The lucky winner will be among 70 children from around the world invited to Edinburgh Castle to meet the author and their one-to-one interview will be broadcast on ITV1, reports the Daily Mail.
Rowling is hosting a Harry Potter weekend to coincide with the publication of the new book on July 16.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for a true Harry Potter fan to meet their heroine and find out the answers to questions that they've always wanted to ask her," a spokeswoman said
