Hollywood actresses are never safe from the public eye. If they lose a few pounds, they're anorexic; if they gain a few, they're pregnant. And Uma Thurman is the latest celebrity to be plagued by pregnancy speculation. On Tuesday she showed up at a charity event with boyfriend Andre Balazs wearing a dress that could have left plenty of space for a bump. This, of course, got people talking. One the event's guests told The New York Daily News's gossip columnist, Lloyd Grove, "She looked like she was in great shape, with those beautiful long legs in her short dress. But she also seemed to have a definite belly, and a few of us were wondering if she's pregnant." Sources close to the couple are denying that a baby is on the way and Thurmans rep said, "She's very happy, but she's not pregnant, I guarantee you. It must have been the dress." It doesn't seem like she's pregnant, but keep your eyes open. If Uma starts preaching about "false tabloids", expect an announcement within weeks.
