Looking for Edie? Sienna's not your girl |

For a time in early 2005, it seemed like Sienna Miller had everything: a rising career, an engagement to one of the world's hottest actors and the part of a lifetime. Lately it seems like the Boho beauty is being robbed of those acquisitions. Her big debut role was in a flop of a film, Alfie. Rumors are raging that she is on the verge of a split with her fiance, Jude Law. And she's lost the part of Edie Sedgwick in the upcoming biopic, Factory Girl. She was set to play the Warhol icon in the Richard Galub-produced film (a role that likely helped her to land a spot on Vanity Fair's much hyped Hollywood issue). But now Galub's co-partner, Holly Wiersma, is offering a lame excuse as to her split with the project. "Sienna's doing As You Like It in London, and there's a conflict," she told Radar magazine. As if any "it girl" worth her Balenciaga bag would take the stage over a chance to play Edie, the ultimate "it girl". Better explanation comes from Wiersma's follow-up quote, "we've found someone else [an undisclosed well-known American actress] who's going to do a great job too." Hopefully they gave the role to a real star this time, instead of a flash in the pan.
