Olsens refuse to guest on Stamos's show |

On "Full House" the only thing that came between Uncle Jesse and little Michelle was a hair crisis. And John Stamos's relationship with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen has remained strong over the ten years since the show they starred on together was cancelled. They even took a day trip to Disneyland together earlier this year (as pictured here). Still, the ties that bind this group together were not strong enough to get the twins to guest star on John's new ABC show, "Jake in Progress". "Jake", unlike it's predecessor "Boston Legal" and its follower, "Grey's Anatomy", failed to use its coveted spot after "Desperate Housewives" to create a following. According to Star magazine, Stamos felt the perfect way to give his series some buzz was to get the Olsens for cameo parts. But unfortunately for him, the girls were not interested. A friend of Stamos's said, "It really isn't something they want to do...They told him as nicely as they could that they really want to concentrate on their studies." Sounds like a big excuse to me. Maybe they were smart enough to know that the only progress this show was going to make was towards cancellation.
