New York City's New School University has dropped the Actors Studio as if it were a slimy used diaphragm. The respected acting program had been running the university's theater department. New School spokesmen say they want to ensure "appropriate governance and increased rigor" for their theater program. We aren't insiders, so we can't tell you the true dirt, but based on that governance and rigor quote, we bet that between New School and the Actors Studio, there is enough biterness to fill all the bottles of the fragrance line which Nicole Richie never launched.
