The New York Times today prints the names of the five service members who died in Iraq yesterday. There is no mention in the paper anywhere of anybody questioning the continued US presence in Iraq. In unrelated developments, John Bolton was nominated by W to be our representative to the UN, though Bolton once said in a NPR interview that the Security Council should be comprised of the United States only, and an op-ed piece in the Times makes clear how easy it is for suspected terrorists to buy assault rifles within our borders.
