Before "Steel Magnolias" was a movie, it was a Broadway play; now it's coming back to Broadway, at the Lyceum Theatre. The play tells of resourceful Southern Belles gossiping. Some people love that, others less so. The New York cast includes Delta Burke, Frances Sternhagen and Christine Ebersole, which is quite some recommendation for purchasing tickets. The show is not to be confused with "Fried Green Tomatoes," though both can boast of having had many a husband dragged to see them against their wills. (By Scott Rose)
