Forbes magazine annual ranking of the world's billionaires is out now for us to dream. Bill Gates reigns for the 11th year in a row. The Microsoft chairman's net worth is $46.5 billion. At No. 2 is legendary investor Warren Buffet whose net worth is $44 billion.
Indian steel man Lakshmi Mittal is number 3 with $25 billion. Fourth place goes to the richest man in Latin America Carlos Slim Helu who has created a communications empire that has made him worth $23.8 billion.
And Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud of Saudi Arabia found a home in the No. 5 position with a net worth of $23.7 billion.
The number of billionaires grew by more than 100 from a year ago, to a record 691. Their total net worth stands at $2.2 trillion.
