Dave Chappelle just inked a deal with Comedy Central to renew his hit series, The Chappelle Show for two more seasons. According to reports, the deal could be worth as much as $50 million, which includes half of the show's DVD's profits as well. After the record breaking success of the first dvd , Comedy Central decided to break the bank for their break out star . "The deal made it very hard to say no," Chappelle told USA Today. "I'm not sure, but I believe there is a clause that gives me reparations for slavery." |
